Villa Francesco is a splendid XVIII th century villa, beautifully restored, taking into account the traditional values and in the mean time paying attention to the requirements of our modern times. It is excellently refined and provided with top quality furnishings. In the middle of a green paradise, the sober-looking Villa Francesco opens its doors and shows all its splendor to the visitor who will appreciate the magnificence of its halls, enjoy the elegance of its furnishings and love all the comforts, fittings and services which the generous owners offer their guests. The property is situated in an excellent strategic position, in fact from Villa Francesco it is very easy to reach Foiano della Chiana, a historic centre where you can find excellent restaurants, supermarkets, characteristic local products and all sorts of shops. By short drive the tourist will enjoy Montepulciano, appreciate the rural landscapes of Val D’Orcia, and could visit the historic little towns of Cetona and Chiusi. The nearby motorway allows to reach Florence, Rome and Siena.
PARK: pines, holm-oaks, cypress trees and rare ancient carob trees can be found in the 6000 m² park which is excellently maintained and surrounded by a fence with two entrances. The villa, this way, is completely hidden, assuring peace and privacy to the guests so that they can benefit from the several relaxing areas, such as the one by the swimming pool. The annex is provided with a laundry room and a traditional wood burning oven which can be used to bake bread and pizza.
SWIMMING POOL: open from April 28th until October 6th. The charming swimming pool measuring 16 x 8 m, with a depth of 1,25 m to 2,50 m and is equipped with springboard, deck chairs and parasols.
INTERIORS: MAIN BUILDING: Villa Francesco is built on three levels. The ground floor consists of a well equipped kitchen with a big fireplace and a characteristic vintage wash tub made of “serena stone”, a table for 14 people, a double hall with a frescoed-ceiling. Furthermore, this floor has a bar as well as comfortable relaxing areas, a double bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub. An ancient stone staircase leads to the upper levels. The first floor provides a hall with a fireplace, a sitting room with a well equipped kitchen and a table for 6 people, a double bedroom with an internal bathroom and shower, a double bedroom with external bathroom with Jacuzzi and shower, a double bedroom with external bathroom and shower. The second floor consists of an equipped kitchen, three double bedrooms, three bathrooms with shower.
DEPENDANCE: The annex (for six people) is situated in a private area and is divided into 2 apartments of 65 square metres each, connected through a door and composed as follows: a dining room with kitchenette and a table for 4 people, a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
SERVICES INCLUDED: electricity, water, gas for kitchen use, weekly linen, initial and final house cleaning, swimming pool and park maintenance.
SERVICES UPON REQUEST (supplied and payable locally to the owner): extra linen (€ 10,00 per person), pool towels (€ 3,00/each), extra cleaning (€ 15,00/h for a minimum of 4 hours), telephone (€ 0,30/unit), heating (on consumption up to date market prices), firewood (€ 15,00/100 Kg).
